Then how about the warm feeling of giving? This Christmas I'm spending 3 days (23rd, 25th and 26th) volunteering at a Crisis-run centre in South London for homeless people with dependency issues. Who knows, I might get some treatment me self while I'm there... (arf, arf). And, in order to ally the feelings of guilt aroused by hearing about my whiter-than-white, selfless act of generosity, you can just give some cash to Crisis, thus meaning we all win. I've already given you a tenner and I didn't get any sort of fawning gratitude for that. So unless I get my boots licked next time I see you I shall use them to hoof the nearest homeless old gimmer.
