Just read review on the hal/fionn regan show, The author could only be the sort of Bitter Miserable failed musician/journo that world can do without. You get the Impression that everything he is saying about the the two acts is a clear reflection of his own personality. The gig was stunning.. hal are an amazing band and all can I say about Fionn regan is the man is a genius. |

HI I WAS AT THAT GIG TOO! IT WAS REALLY REALLY GREAT! WHO IS THIS MISERABLE SELF IMPORTANT REVIEWER! i SAW TWO EXTREMLEY PROMISING ACTS! FIONN REGAN SANG A BEAUTIFUL SET AND I THOUGHT HE WAS REALLY POSITIVELY DIFFERENT FROM MUNDY, D. RICE ET AL! A COOL SONGWRITER! AND HAL REALLY IMPRESSED! i RECOMMEND SOUND XP GETS A LESS SYNICAL MUSIC APPRECIATER  - NOT HATER ON BOARD! WHAT A MISERY GUTS!

I though it was a great review actually! Get over it you mugs, just cos you like twee bollocks doesn't mean everybody else has to 
When will people understand this simple idea? To be honest, if I'd have been at this gig then I'm sure I would have written something very similar. It's got to be something very special for this format of band or singer songwriter to excite the average reviewer, and just saying it was a great gig is not going to sway my opinion just cos you liked it. Oh, and please don't write in capitals.....I mean, what point are you trying to prove? It makes it painful to read (yet alone without the content of the post being rubbish!). |

the review is perfect and true, the person refered to as hushing the crowd was the singers gal ,and a large enough section of the crowd were related to the band .Playing a gig for half an hour is just bloody rude and the wimps that cant be bothered bringing a decent lenght set to paying crowds do not deserve the adulation of teeny boppers like loony lady. |
