Lostmusic return to the Gramaphone for their first show of 2009 - this time teamed up with the fab SoundsXP! Esiotrot Taking their name from a Roald Dahl novel - Esiotrot are a magnificent blend of folk and pop - this is the bands first show of 2009 and it comes just ahead of their soon to be released split single on Sounds XP. The band count Darren Haymen amongst their fans and he declared them one of his new favourite bands last year. Yeah, they're that good! The Puncture Repair Kit We last had the Puncture Repair Kit at a Lostmusic show back in September and we thought the band were ace and we couldn't wait to get them back again. "The best thing to come out of Cambridge since homosexuality" - Paul Heaton "cute indiepop with strong tunes" - IndieMP3 Clockwork Four From the ashes of the Bridge Gang and The Olympians new Sounds XP signee's Clockwork Four are set to take 2009 by storm - their guitar driven pop sounds are like a breath of fresh air - with nods to the early 90s - this rag tag band are no mere throwbacks - as their sound is all about the NOW! Their forthcoming release will be a split single with The Manhattan Love Suicides on Sounds Experience and Lostmusic Records. It will be £5 on the door! |

i knew hexicon would make it big in 2009... seriously, they are ten shades of awesome. even though there's no french horn in the live show at the moment due to thomas' tooth troubles™... |

Whilst it is laudible for photographers to accurately record moments in time they should perhaps refrain from making their subjects look like sacks of Some nice photies there though Mr Bola. I have a good pic of the mythical Sally with Bovine from last night but I'll keep it to myself as 1. Sally looks scared and 2. Bovine looks freakishly demented. Not a comfortable combination. My photos of Clockwork Four I'll put up the rest of the bands when I've processed them. |

no one defended her, no one echoed her attitude. i couldn't give a fuck. it's words. she was really drunk anyway. at least she let me know that she couldn't handle the joke, and gave me chance (however limited) to explain to her the banter, and why it occurred. |

What a tosser (her not you). I was pretty much oblivious to most of this. Isn't alcohol great? |
