That picture of PJ Harvey possibly flashing her petals got me thinking... who in rawk has over the years had a bit of a habit of slapping their nethers out?

Madonna... so proud of her bod that she devoted a whole book to its exposure.

Iggy - who hasn't seen his little squiggy?

Jim Morrison - could have had someone's eye out at a gig and was arrested for it.

Lux Interior - cramps frontman who slapped his doodah... exterior

Any more rudies?

Har Mar likes to strip down to his Y fronts but no further, so he's just a tease. I don't know how often the Red Hot Chili Peppers got them out but there's the famous pix of them with sox on their cox. The drummer of Electric Eel Shock did that recently when I saw them. And I saw the singer of the Living Things get his mini-widget out a few months ago at the Metro. GG Allin used to perform naked, as well as crap on stage, as did Dillinger Escape Plan.....

The QOTSA (former) bassist.
Tommy Lee
Courtney Love
John Lennon. Curiously, apart from Lennon I cant think of too many Brits who are infamous for nudity in music.

The woman from the dandy warhols used to be keen on getting her milky funbags out at gigs but since she was about 8 and three quarter months pregnant when I saw them at benicassim last weekend she has probably shelved that idea for the time being.

you can't forget the all girl band on the word either, lv was it?

Oh yeah, Ms Dandy did but that was just a gimmick to get column inches (ooh err) in the press, along with a load of dodgy references to hard drugs. It worked. Partially. In the end it took a mobile ad to really convince the world that they had talent. Their last awful album then finally persuaded the world that they didn't....

All girl grunge rockers L7 was the band on the Word. And yes she had no pants on...

Macy Gray
Darius

I did see a guy jump up on stage with the Stones at Knebworth once for a wank but since he wasn't an official band member I guess that doesn't count?

Yeah, but then they did auction off drummer Dee Plakas to a lucky ticket holder at a gig once for a night of no-strings attatched love. So pulling down your pants on TV shouldn't really have surprised anyone.

Is this Enid? If so, where the hell have you been, and more importantly, what have you been taking? "Here am I sitting in my tin-can, far above the moon..."

I expected to see you next wearing a poncho, on your way to some free festival, towing some dog on a string.....man!

Nope, it wasn't me but I was wondering who it was as I was there too. I was somewhat disappointed by Ms Warhol's expectant status but the set seemed great through the usage of some very average speed that I bought from a gypsy. Heady days

It was I who posted about the dandy warhols and l7. I was indeed at benicassim, I thought it was awesome this year, very very enjoyable.

Lots of english there dotted about too.
