There’s a big anti-England movement at Man Utd .. This stems back to the aftermath of 98 World Cup and the shocking treatment Beckham got, which many believe was largely to do with the club he played for… The current fave song at OT is "That boy Ronaldo" ... So, club should always come before country. That said: I like the buzz of everyone being behind the England team and I would sacrifice an FA Cup win or something for England to bag a trophy... Can't see it happening, though. Euro 08 could be over for us by Saturday night |

Club by a country mile. England lose and I'm disappointed but City lose and I get depressed (I'm permanently on valium obviously). The only thing that the country's success surpasses my club's is the fact that you get to share your joy with others. When City win I have to log onto the net and cyberhug strangers... |
