We're back for another slice of single-minded reminiscing and appreciation of the music that shaped today's sounds. With the emphasis firmly on Punk, New Wave and beginnings of what we call 'Indie' - but also incorporating Dance, Two- Tone and Hip-Hop - this one is going to be quite something!! We welcome Paul Mawdesley -Editor-in-chief of ace music review site - and Guilty Pleasures and Uncle Bobs stalwart Billy Reeves along as our special guest DJs. We're back at The Old Crown, near Tottenham Court Road, and it's still free entry (although donations are gratefully received!), and the night will run from 8.30pm to 2am. Like last time, there will be visual entertainment for you to gaze at as you munch on whatever we've provided as a buffet! All the gubbins is , so get yer boogie shoes on and come down!!! |

Tomorrow - yeah!! Oh, and this time it's 1978-1987 inclusive, remember, although each DJ is allowed 1 song per session that is from a different year - a 'era breaker', if you like. First punter that correctly identifies the 'rogue track' gets a free drink. Or something. |
