I caught the end of the Move festival highlights last night and saw Morrissey in action and it kind of brought a tear to Cavey's eye :cry:

He was singing Irish blood, English heart with quite a bit of emotion and threw his top into the crowd and I fear i'm developing a sick penchant for the miserable bugger - I love his new song and I heard Suedehead yesterday and had to suppress the fact that I actually adore the facking song - well i'm out off the closet now. Please use this thread to save Cavey's soul and remind her of what a twat he is before I start forming a quiff and a face like a smacked baby's arse :cry:

Yeah I understand that bit... I'm just confused because he changes focus and starts going, "I've been dreaming of a time when the English are sick to death of Labour and Tories..." which seems most out of place if you ask me... Also, what's very confusing is the lyrics are about allegiance to being English... so why does he distance himself from this by saying "... a time when the English are sick to death..."? Once again, it confuses me but that's probably more of a fault of my brain than Moz' lyric sheet...

Anyway, my pedanticism aside, it's a fantastic song.
