Anyone heard of a German band Liquido? I'd been trying to get hold of an album of theirs, 'At The Rocks' for ages but it had been deleted, which was a shame as it has an absolute masterpiece of a song on it called 'Play Some Rock' which (if you ask Xfm nicely they will actually dig out of their dusty old archives and play it). Anyway, I just picked up the album from Amazon for 98p. I am very happy. The rest of the album is quite interesting but 'Play Some Rock' is one of the greatest songs ever. Seriously. I think they have three left on Amazon for 98p and i recommend anyone to pick it up. |

I think I might remember them, Tim, though the track I liked was more like 6 years ago. Sadly I can't remember what it was. Dashed catchy though, whatever. |

Just remembered - Narcotic from 1999. Very Smashing Pumpkins-ish, whom I only liked in very very small doses. |

Yeah, with the exception of 'Play Some Rock', the rest of the songs are either a bit too Feeder / A / Fountains of Wayne for me although some a veering towards Cure / Pixies / Pearl Jam. Interesting album anyway. And damn cheap. |
