Heh, quite amusing... I remember you being firmly in the anti-Allardyce camp when the England manager banter was being touted and now he's taken over your club! Oops... Mind you I don't think Bolton were as ugly a side as most people made out... hardly Ajax circa. '96 but not exactly Wimbledon circa. '96 either... |

Indeedy. I should point out I was in the anti-Allardyce camp but never dreampt McClaren would get the flippin' job. Anyway, some positive spin: so far Sam's been a small club manager and has cut his cloth accordingly. But he's shown big club potential and now we'll get to see what he can do with some money at his disposal. At least he should sort out the defence. |
