Come on the rest of you... So far it's: Me Jim Flaccid (and Kirsten) Anarchy Bola Chicken (and Mrs Chicken) Basically the same crowd as last year. Where's the fresh new meat? It really is THE BEST FESTIVAL ON THE PLANET. Cheap beer (including organic ale), cheap food, really friendly atmosphere, not too big so not too crowded and IT'S ALL FOR CHAZZER!!! |

I went last year. If it wasn't for Battles I would have felt like I'd wasted 40 quid. Mediocre festival circuit bands accompanied by bands only Nightshift find interesting (fiddly guitar on a back drop of post-rock, anyone?). I'm going to go to Summer Sundae again. Only $20 more than Truck & it's an extra day. And maybe Latitude. The line up for that looks decent. |

Yeah, I saw some good stuff. Barbar Luck & Thomas Traux were good, but I could see them at any time. Battles were the stand out for me, by a mile. As said, if they hadn't played, I think I would have been pretty pissed off paying 40 quid to see what was pretty much bogstandard festival bands. Sure the line up will be amazing this yeah though
