It's brilliant. What a shock then not to see you in the 100 top comedy acts* of our time...Bovey, where did you get that? It takes dire visual humour to a whole new level. *I watched bits of this and it confirmed what I knew already - there are no funny women out there. Victoria Wood is a bore. Jenny Eclair is a predicatable slag. Rhona vicious scottish woman plays on her sexuality too much. Joan Rivers is just funny to look at. Only Jo Brand has any substance to her and that's to do with comic delivery. She's brilliant at that. I'm glad to see that Billy came out on top. My faves are: Billy Connolly Ben Elton (when he was good) Bill Hicks Ricky Gervais Peter Kay (for his nostalgia trips) They're the ones who make me laugh until i'm crying. Some of the comedians featured had me going 'Ey?' Some humour I just don't get. |
