We here at Cherryade Towers are preparing to kick the new year off in style with two very exciting releases by the wonderful Listen With Sarah:

The first will be a 7" single (CHY007) featuring the massive radio hits 'My Little Hula Girl' and 'Animal Boum,' it's available to pre-order now from the Cherryade website:

A week later (on February 5th) we will be releasing yet another Listen With Sarah record on the lucky record-buying public. This is a 6 track CD EP (CHY008) featuring beautiful new compositions by Sarah showcasing some of her finest work to date. This can also be bought from the Cherryade website:

Here's a bit of info you might (or might not) already know about Listen With Sarah:
Describing her unique sound as 'breakbleet farmcore hulastep serendipity', Sarah and her computer have been making beautiful music together since 2002. In 2004 Sarah sent a 3 track demo to the much missed John Peel, who quickly picked up on the EP and played 'Animal Hop' on his Radio 1 show. In the next few months before his death in October of 2004 John played Sarah no less than 9 times on his shows. After John's death Radio 1 DJs Rob Da Bank and Huw Stephens continued to play Sarah's compositions and she gained international recognition and airplay. Listen With Sarah also appeared in the 2004 and 2005 Festive Fifty charts.
2006 was a busy year for her, she released her first material since the now unavailable highly acclaimed debut album Are You Sitting Comfortably in the form of the single 'Another Nice Mix,' recorded a session for BBC Radio 3's Andy Kershaw show and had the track 'Blue Parsley' appear on the Sunday Best compilation Folk Off alongside Vashti Bunyan and King Creosote amongst others.

http://www.wombrecords.com/), we are arranging a gig at 12 Bar on Denmark Street in London featuring The Bobby McGee's, Ergo Phizmiz, DJ Reach and Roger Species, Spinmaster Plantpot and DJ sets from Kodex Machine. The gig is on Monday 29 th January (doors 8pm) and admission is only £3 on the door, plus there will be free Cherryade goodies for everyone who comes! Hope to see lots of you there!
