I have these in-ear type ones from Sennheiser and they're very good (though they have that bloody stupid thing where the cord that goes to one ear is longer than the other - dunno what that's all about) I bought those because I couldn't find a replacement pair of Creative ep-630 which were brilliant and got lots of good reviews If you can find a pair of those you'll be very happy with them. Lastly, ipodlounge.com give the Sony MDR EX81 top honours in their review of the year, though I haven't tried them. All the above are those ones that have the replaceable little plastic nob things that fit in your ear. They're fantastic and mean I can actually listen to stuff on the central line without blasting my eardrums. The only downside is that they create a sort of muffled thudding if you walk with them in. It's hard to explain, but they pick up the internal vibrations from your footsteps. |
