I was out being dashing (and later breaking my heel by trying to be Marty McFly and running over my friends car) on Saturday night so I missed Pink Floyd but I saw them today. It was emotional if a little odd that they had close ups of everyone save Rick Wright. Was this part of Roger Waters demands in order to play? He (Waters) looked like he was having a riot though. Dave Gilmour looked like Uncle Fester and Nick Mason looked a bit wobbly on some bits but I thought overall they were ace considering that they hadn't played those songs for at least 10 years sans Waters.

Other highlights for me were-

Snoop Dogg swearing and imagining a good 99.9% of the crowd there going "Oh I say!"

Bob Gandolf doing "I Don't Like Mondays" extremely wonkily

The Killers *runs for cover* even though I thought from the opening synth chord I thought they were going to cover "Let's Go Crazy" by Prince

Playing at Live 8 increases .

Fair play to Pink Floyd though who are going to donate all the post gig sales to charidee but after listening to Bush and Schroder today no-one else is.
