Talking about public displays Class War (remember them?) have a free bonfire display in London Fields E8 tomorrow burning effigies of Bush, Blair and Jules Pipe, the mayor of Hackney. Ho ho er, hum!

i love fireworks

went up primrose hill on saturday night to watch drunk people try and blow themselves up for the entertainment of a small crown of well wrapped and equally drunk onlookers. always the best way to to spend fireworks night. was actually quite impressed with the way the police who allowed the illegal unofficial display to go on until about 10:30 before politely explaining to people in person that we shouldn't really be there anyway and the park was closing now. which i thought was rather a change from the heavy handed nannying i would normally expect from the met.

did have a moment of worry on the way home last night when some kids let of a rocket in the street about four metres from me and my already very fireworks-nervous girlfriend. luckily i saw the smoke and them legging it just before it went off and ducked behind a parked car while it went bananas before expoloding in the street. that was quite exciting.

always loved fireworks though. brilliant fun. and i'm with howdy on this one. you can't legislate for little shits being little shits.

"oooooh" "ahhhhhhh" etc.
