So imagine you've had a stroke and you come to and realise your accent has changed. What would you be happy/unhappy with?

I guess South African must be low on most people's lists. In fact, jeez, can you imagine if the only accents you picked up ended up with you sounding like someone off Mind Your Language ("Yes, I'm thanking you for your patience, Mr Patel, but I am really talking like this...") *cue chinning*

I'd put up with most English accents but would draw the line at Brummie.

I love a bit of Posh too, hon I love the Dubliners' accent - well i'd have to. I hate the Brummies and the other ones that you listed too, Neon. Yikes! Hear that lightening! Scary!
