To get back on topic, it's about time that smoking is banned everywhere. Everywhere other people are. Apart from out in open spaces, of course.
I have divided loyalties. I smoked for a long time - longer than Charlotte Church's life!! And more than 20, full strength Marlboro a day. I loved it. But NOW - seeing these sad losers shivering outside office blocks, united in a 'persecuted' mentality, makes me well happy it is now - maybe only temporarirly - no longer part of my life...
Hmmm.
It's 2006. It's no longer acceptable in many ways, so lose it, people. But, then again, glorious wrongdoing is so much more interesting and attractive than pious 'come over here - it's shite there' hollering from the likes of me.

Then again - £5 a packet has made my mind up. Smoking is rubbish.

Smoking bans are fucking awful.

Again, apologies if already covered, but
"Liberal Democrat environment spokesman Norman Baker agreed that patio heaters were a "waste of resources" and "doomed to failure".

He told the BBC News website: "If I see patio heaters I try to make the point in a barbed comment to the person using it."

I wonder what the 'barbed comment' would be...?

Something like "Hello there, smoker. Trying to heat up the entire world again, are you? Thats a bit futile, really.Maybe you should just give up smoking. Otherwise, not only are you destroying your lungs - you're destroying our CHILDREN'S lungs too....! He, He, Heh...'
