Mmmm I don't think you can change anything from inside or out - we are underlings in this world and at the mercy of the likes of NME - that's why Soundsxp and other such boards are such wondrous places ~ calendar girl for Sounds 2005 ~ there are ways to penetrate NME and turn it around but they're all illegal and we would go to prison for many, many moons...

It's only a matter of time before it fold, surely. It has certainly lost it's relevance and respect amongst anyone with a genuine interest in new music.

As for bringing it down - simple, just don't buy the fucker! I haven't done for 5 years or so, and I don't think it's impaired my ability to keep up-to-date with new bands. Tell you what though, looking into my crystal ball, my money's on a Gay Dad revival. :wink:
