The Great Escape was definitely better organised than last year, we found the text messages really helpful, there were more and better venues this year. Last year we were traipsing around in the pouring rain never knowing if we were going to get to a venue and there be a giant queue or not.
The Udderbelly wasn't used much by the Great Escape as it's really there for the Brighton Festival that's on at the moment, it was only used for a handful of gigs. But I totally agree with Jim about the way they organised the staff with regards to getting back in if you needed to go out for a toilet break. They could have been a lot more helpful, but they'll learn from it. Next year will be even more of an improvement I reckon.Statistics: Posted by pickle — Tue May 22, 2007 7:01 pm
