This is an impressive follow-up to the long playing debut released last year. The influences may be very easy to spot, with at various times the Go Team, Lemon Jelly, the Stone Roses and the Beta Band being clear reference points but that’s to take nothing away from the quality of the hooks and the mood created. Gloriously effective and face smackingly instant, if you like your slacker indie to come with an electronic pulse you’re onto a sure fire winner with this 4 tracker.
