A split single by yet another pair of talented tykes from South Yorkshire. Screaming Mimi offer the uptempo Who is Louise? which twists and turns like a musical walnut, veering between country tinged rhythms and meandering Turkish delights. Bafflingly good. Over on the flip, Trophy by RepoMen is equally impressive with its warm harmonies, 60s string plucking and relentless driving beat, it suggests a more brooding take on Sally Cinnamon. Terrific.
